Croda Presents an Array of New Products

Learn more about them at Stand G30.

Croda (Stand G30) is launching a wide range of products during In-Cosmetics. For example, Keramimic 2.0 is a biomimetic keratin that is said to “intelligently” repair damaged hair. The amino acid sequences of the peptide found in Keramimic 2.0 match those present in the keratin proteins found in cuticular and cortical regions of human hair. As a result, the material is a highly substantive conditioning agent that provides targeted repair to the most damaged areas of the hair’s surface.

Another “intelligent” ingredient is DuraQuench IQ. With its dual mechanism, the material optimizes skin moisturization by the formation of an intelligent structural layer on the surface of the skin, while regulating water loss from within by restoring skin’s natural barrier.

Croda was founded on a natural ingredient—lanolin—and over the decades, it has expanded its portfolio of natural ingredients to become one of the biggest suppliers in the industry. To help its customers keep track of all of the green solutions available, Croda has published Up Close and Green, a guide to all of its green products for use in UV protection, hair care and skin care.
